I just learned of Bob’s passing yesterday evening. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Bob was one of my law school classmates, and one of my favorite people during that 3 years of my life. I didn’t see Bob very often after graduation, usually at a Mizzou football game every few years. I last ran in to him at a game in 2019, and like always, we picked up a conversation, catching up and laughing like old times without missing a beat. I can’t believe I won’t have the chance to run in to him again. I’m glad I had the chance to call Bob a friend. He will be missed.

When Bob first walked into our Cafe in the 7's Building, we were laughing within 2 minutes. As the years progressed we laughed a lot and became very good friends. There was always a good story and good conversation every time he crossed our threshold for lunch, or sometimes just to hang out. The crew knew to start making a Buschman Wrap as soon as he entered. "Feed the machine" he would say. Molly and I will miss him for the rest of our lives but our memories of the friendship that grew from that first encounter will always be with us, to counter the profound sadness we feel since hearing of his sudden passing. Rest easy Buschman, you were one of a kind.

Such heartbreaking news. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Bob in Ireland 20-years ago and we stayed close friends ever since. He was one of the most genuine, funny, and good-hearted people I have ever met. He will be missed by many. Until we meet again good buddy....

Bob,

I think we talked either in person or on the phone almost every day for 3 years of law school. All I can hear is your voice, saying funny things, saying honest things, telling stories, and asking questions as you got to know all of us so well. The gang is all thinking about you, missing you, and remembering our amazing time at "Hulston High." You are loved buddy.

Wish I was telling you this in person and getting a goodbye hug.

It's just so hard to imagine getting together with the good ol' boys in the absence of our brother Bobby Busch. I see you smiling and hear you shouting "Whitey!" . . . which always filled me with the joy and relief of knowing that I hadn't been forgotten after all these years away from St. Louis. Love you, pal. Be in peace now, and continue to bless us with laughter and love. Mike

For the family and friends of Bob Busch -

My heart is heavy for the loss of this profound human being. I will always remember Bob in the cherished memories I have of our younger high school days. I will never forget how devoted he was to his friends and family, how curious he was about other people’s experiences, how sensitive and introspective he could be, his endless generosity and protective nature, how he possessed a swagger and sensibility all his own, and how much he enjoyed living life to its fullest. Heaven has gained a brilliant soul that will be missed dearly. May loving prayers for comfort and peace find all of our hearts during this troubling time.

When I think of “Rob Bob” it automatically brings a smile to my face. He brought laughter to our lives with every question and tease. I always enjoyed seeing him around the Rockamann family. From being a house dad at MIZZOU to fun nights with family & friends in St. Louis. He was truly one in a billion. He will be missed here on earth, but we know he is having a blast as Mr. Social in heaven. We miss you, till we are together again.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Bob was a great guy who was always willing to help others in any capacity. I remember he was one of the first ones to take time out of his busy days to show me the ropes of real estate and give me advice I will never forget. He was one of the good ones, may he rest in peace.

Bob,
You are a great friend, an enormously generous human, and golfing buddy. I am still in shock that this happened, you called me when I was in Florida the week before, I didn’t have a chance to call you back. I Wish that I did.
Rest In Peace friend. There is no replacing you. Glad I could witness your hole in one a few years back. One of your many crowning achievements. Be well.

I'll never forget all the good times with Bob in law school and beyond. Most memorable was probably the 2007 MU-KU game at Arrowhead Stadium in 2 degree weather that he, my wife, Erica, and I sat together through. Nosebleed seats, 4 layers of clothing, cardboard under your shoes to provide a barrier to the frozen concrete...and Bob screaming his head off at the officials and KU players from 400 feet away the whole game. You'll be missed, buddy. Sending my thoughts to the family.
