Clark, Robert P. "Bob"
69, Passed Thursday, July 13, 2023, following a head injury. Though no longer here, he continues to watch over his wife of 44 years, Joan (Wittman) Clark, son, Robby Clark, daughter, Katie Clark, sister, Linda (Clark) Tuck, and many other loved ones.
A graduate of Assumption High, he received a BA in Biology at SIUE and an Associate's at SIUC in Dental Tech. While both great achievements, it transpired that his true purpose was meeting the love of his life, Joan. Bob's calling was to be a loving husband, and a wonderful father to his children. He worked in the food industry before retiring early due to injury. He did not let this stop him, devoting his time and energy to his family. He volunteered and tutored at his children's schools and clubs. Bob was a car enthusiast and loved to take his family on driving "adventures." He was a lifelong learner, with a passion for animals. One of his favorite activities was watching movies with his family. He lives on through the lessons he taught us, the courage and determination he embodied in his daily struggles, and the overwhelming love he shared with those around him. He was a great man, and the world is better for having had him in it.
Services: A visitation will be held at Bopp Chapel from 4-8pm on 7/18. Funeral mass will be at St. Gerard Majella at 1pm on 7/19. Donations can be made to Peregrine Society. www.boppchapel.com
