Myover, Robert Spery
(1/25/1953- 2/19/2022) or "Boo" as known by most people, was the son of Max and Virginia Myover of Florissant, MO.
Robert graduated from McCluer High School ('71) and is lucky to call many from his class life-long friends. He was the proud father of Erin, father-in-law to Michael and was overjoyed to become "Papa Boo." Robert was always moved by music and never stopped learning new instruments or seeing concerts. Wherever Boo went, he left a legacy of friendship and kindness. He treasured his family and friendships most of all in his lifetime and always put those above himself.
Robert worked as a bartender for the past 25 years at Annie Gunn's, where he was named St. Louis bartender of the year in 2008 by STL Magazine, and known as a friend by all who entered there. He passed in peace after a fierce battle with esophageal cancer surrounded by friends and family, listening to the Beatles. He was content with where the road led him and had no regrets. His life was tremendous.
Robert is survived by daughter Rebecca Erin Myover-Piotrowski, (Michael Piotrowski); grandchildren James Robert and Maya Grace Piotrowski; sister Chris Myover Sikorski (Don); brother James Michael "Duke" Myover; nieces and nephews Erik Sikorski (Jennifer), Andrea Fox, Lilah, Cooper and Colton Myover, and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services: Celebration of Life July 10, 2022, 2-6pm at Westport Playhouse.

I am blindsided by this. Robert was my neighbor (shared a wall) for 8 years until 2020. He was one of the best men I've known and would do anything he could to help, even strangers. My condolences to his family, whom he talked about often and with pride and joy. My prayers are with you all. Just a note... when it was patio door open season, I always heard his excellent selection of music.
