Delaney, Sandra Ann "Sandy"
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sandra Ann "Sandy" Delaney (nee Smith) of St. Louis, Missouri, on July 15, 2023. Sandy lived her life as the devoted, loving wife of 62 years to Thomas Edwin Delaney, dear mother and mother-in-law to son David (Cindy nee Sodemann) Delaney, daughters Pamela Delaney and Patty (Richard) King of Columbia, Missouri, doting grandmother to Jack Pawloski, Iris Redmond, Patrick and Nick King, Thomas (TJ) and Timothy Delaney, and endearing, loving, endlessly supportive friend to so many. Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Anastasia Esther Smith (nee Hermannes) and B. Fordney Smith, and brother Bertram F. Smith.
Sandy was born April 23, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, where she would reside all her life.
Sandy donated her remains to the Washington University School of Medicine.
All are invited to a casual celebration of Sandy's life on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at Viviano's Festa Italiano, 55 Fenton Plaza, Fenton, Missouri, 63026 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
