Scott was my very first friend. We were not old enough to cross the street, or even leave our yards but we played together digging to "bugs bunny land" on the edge of our yards since they were next door to each other. oh we would sit and dig in this hole for hours! it was a massive hole for us! it was about 5 inches deep by the time we finished digging with our sticks... and we would listen with our ears to the ground. We had to be so quiet! sshhhhh!!! he would tell me. Fern even brought us out a carrot for 'bait' so we could catch Bugs! Scott would tell me it was my fault we never got to "bugs bunny land" or caught Bugs...because I wasn't quiet enough!
Scott was my very first friend and will always be in my memories and in my heart. My prayers are with his entire family.
