Johnston, Sean Patrick Ryan
(35) passed on November 16, 2021 in San Diego, CA. Sean was a Petty Officer Second Class assigned to the CLB 31 and deployed to Okinawa, Japan. A consummate teacher and caregiver, Sean found his passion serving as a Naval Hospital Corpsman since 2010.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Nelida (Neli) Johnston, parents, Lorri Hix (mother) and her husband Robert Hix, John Johnston (father) and his wife Donna Graumnitz and siblings, Natalie Hix, Liam Johnston, Maggie Johnston, Sara Raycraft and Dillon Raycraft. Preceded in death, John William Louis Johnston (brother) and grandparents Joan and Louis Girolami, Robert and Jean Pasipanko and Arvle and Dona Hix.
Services: Visitation will take place Monday, December 6th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., and funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO. Interment services will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Sean's memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation in service of those military and first responders who serve all of us.
