Meltz, Suzanne M.
(nee Susman). January 1, 1927-November 23, 2021; born to the late Nathan and Lillian Susman. Wife of the late Jerome N. Meltz. Mother of Gary (Kathy McDaniel) Meltz, M.D., Craig (Roberta) Meltz, and Laurie Meltz Dolgin. Grandmother of Karyn (Chris) Murphy, Lindsey (Kenny) James, Leah Dolgin, and Daniel (Nicole Wilson) Meltz. Great-grandmother to Zoe Steinberg, Jonah James, and Hannah James.
Suzanne was a trained classical pianist who taught piano for many years. She loved playing Chopin and Brahms sonatas. She was a voracious reader. She loved the St. Louis Symphony, and watched many BBC programs, Masterpiece Theater and Netflix shows.
She loved her family to the very end.
Many thanks to all the caregivers and nurses who cared for her over the last several months.
Services: Funeral service Sunday, November 28, 10:30 a.m. at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd. Visitation Sunday prior to service at 10:00 a.m. Interment following at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery-White Road. MASKS REQUIRED. Contributions can be made to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, or the charity of your choice. My sincere condolences go out to all the members of Suzanne“s family . She was a wonderful friend, and I will miss her very much. I will never forget her lively personality and her cheerful nature. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
