Thomure, Terrence M.
Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection Sat., March 4, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Margaret I. "Margie" Thomure, (nee Nelson) for over 56 years. Loving father of John Thomure, Joseph (Suzanne) Thomure, Gail (Clay) Trautman, and the late Michael Terrence. Our dearest uncle, great-uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton 10151 Gravois, Fri., March 10, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., to Seven Holy Founders for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Diabetes Association, American Kidney Foundation, or St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Terry and I were both teachers at Rogers Middle School. The last seven years of Terry´s long career teaching art there were the first seven years of my own long, wonderful tenure. Despite age differences, there was a strong bond of brotherhood among the RMS faculty. Terry, in particular, was always friendly, kind, and open hearted to me as a new teacher. In the ensuing 30 years since we taught together, Terry and I have serendipitously crossed paths many times. Terry was funny, fascinating, and truly such a gentleman. I will miss him, but I am buoyed by my belief he is enjoying many joyful reunions in heaven.
My condolences to those who also mourn his passing.
