Bene, Thelma G.
(nee Pizzella) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday June 16, 2023, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Victor Mancuso and Francis H. Bene. Dear mother of James J. (Dorine) Mancuso. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Amy (Neill), Emily (Chris), Jamie, Joey and Katie. Dear great grandmother of Adam and Dylan. Dear daughter of the late Louis and Giovanina Pizzella. Dear sister of the late John and Frank Pizzella, Josephine Gualdoni and Julius Pizzella. Our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend.
Thelma was a member of St. Ambrose Mt. Carmel Society, Senior Citizens Club and the Italia America Bocce Club.
Services: Memorial visitation at St. Ambrose Church (5130 Wilson Ave.) on Wednesday June 28, from 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sick and Elderly of The Hill, appreciated. A Kutis South County service.
