W. Wesley Burton

Burton, W. Wesley into the arms of the Lord surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Loving husband of Dorothy Jo Burton (nee: Hanson). Cherished father of Carole A. (Jack) Kramer, Barbara L. (Dennis) Wells, John K. Burton and the late W. Wesley Burton III. Proud grandfather of Allyson (John) Remmetter, Robert W. (Dawn) Mauk, John R. Burton, Michael Wells, Matthew Burton and numerous great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Elizabeth Kellett and the late Florence Kissel. Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many. Wesley grew up, graduated in 1939 and raised his family in Webster Groves until 1978, when he moved to Lake St. Louis to enjoy his hobbies of sailing and fishing. He was a member of the Lake St. Louis Sailing Club. Wesley was employed at Anheuser-Busch for 43 years, retiring as a production supervisor. Wesley was a longtime member of the Dardenne Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels and BJC Hospice for their care and assistance. Services: Funeral Tuesday, August 6, 11am at BUCHHOLZ Mortuary West, 2211 Clarkson Road. Interment private.
