Dear Mrs Bauer and Family,

I was sorry to hear of Mr. Bauer's passing. He was a dear friend of my grandparents Bette and Allan Knabe for many years. Sending my condolences to your family for your loss. He was a very neat man.

Dear Barbara,Bruce, Susan, Sandy, Sherry and the whole wonderful family. We are truly sorry for your loss. It seems the best generation is leaving the future in some tenuous hands - I hope we'll be up to the job. I remember so many wonderful times with you, the Roemers, Apples and my parents. I wish I could be there with you to share in the joy of Werner's life. My love and sympathy to you all.
