Andrisse, Yorvoll Joseph
age 78, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022, surrounded by her family at Delmar Gardens North. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Eugene Joseph and Odette Joseph. She married Dr. William Andrisse on August 5, 1967 in Haiti. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Haiti. She is survived by her children: Sherer Newton (Chris Newton), Yorvoll Gardner (Robert Gardner), Vladimir Andrisse (Lala Andrisse), William Andrisse (Angela Andrisse), and Dr. Stanley Andrisse (Stephanie Andrisse); and grandchildren: Christopher Newton, Clayton Newton, Alanna Andrisse, Teirra Andrisse, Brandon Gardner, Ashley Gardner, Asia Andrisse, Alexander Andrisse, Ashlynn Andrisse, Amour Andrisse, and William Andrisse.
Services: Family, friends, and others whose lives Yorvoll touched are invited to attend her visitation at Valhalla Funeral Chapel on Monday 12/19/22 from 2-6 p.m.; and funeral services at St. Angela Merici Church on Tuesday 12/20/22 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Haiti Partners are welcome. https://support.haitipartners.org/give/155583/#!/donation/checkout
