Rae Allen Obituary

Rae Lee Allen September 16, 1940 – October 16, 2025 Rae Lee Allen passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, in Berkeley, California, at the age of 85. She was born on September 16, 1940, in Ripon, California, to her loving parents, Frank and Eunice Allen. A longtime resident of Berkeley for 50 years, Rae built a fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends. She was married to Daniel McMenamin and was a devoted mother to her children, Jonathan Fisher (Paula) of Belmont, CA, and Deborah Maden (Chuck) of Berkeley, CA. Rae is also survived by her brother, Brian Allen (Rindy) of Elk Grove, CA, and six cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Allen, and her granddaughter, Cate Fisher. Rae worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm for 13 years, where her attention to detail and compassion made her a valued member of the team. Outside of work, she enjoyed traveling and reading-two passions that reflected her curiosity and love of learning. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 East River Road, Escalon, CA 95320. Rae will be remembered for her warmth, intelligence, and quiet strength. She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.
