Charles Lincoln Frandson
February 12, 1935 - February 11, 2021
Charles Lincoln Frandson, one day before his 86th birthday passed away peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family on February 11, 2021. Chuck battled syringomyelia, suffered from an infection in the spinal cord and complications of the surgery to treat it more than 42 years ago. He succumbed to advanced stages after winning countless battles throughout his life.
Chuck was born on a farm in Story City, Iowa in 1935 to parents Arthur Frandson and (Beulah) Baldus Frandson. Shortly after graduating from the University of Iowa, he made his way to California and found his stride within commercial real estate. Toward the end of a 20-year tenure at CB Commercial/CBRE he was honored with the William H. McCarthy Memorial Award in 1981. Finding his true passion, he parted ways soon after and made his mark as a Real Estate Developer over the next 40 years. His kind heart and caring ways were only rivaled by his love for family and appreciation of friends. Through relentless focus, a strong work ethic, honesty, and integrity, an impeccable reputation was forged.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Ducey) Frandson, his sons Graham Frandson, Justin Frandson (wife Jessica Frandson), and granddaughter Lauren Frandson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Russel Frandson, Carroll Frandson and Philip Frandson.
The interment service was a private family affair held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
