Dennis was my first and best friend when I was stationed at Richard’s-Gebaur AFB near Kansas City, MO. We spent a lot of our free time exploring KC and when I got married my spouse, Dennis and I got along very well.
Dennis we love you so much and will miss you.
Your friendship to us was so special

Dennis was proud of his military career and enjoyed serving overseas where he could see the world and its many cultures. He could be an ornery old cuss at times but yet cared and loved many. I was his "work wife" for about 15 years working at Hy-Vee and we became good friends as many of our co-workers were young and we were Ma and Pa. He enjoyed the camaraderie with the young ones though working stocking shelves at night and later hanging out with several of them bowling or doing whatever..he missed that part of the military too so many hoildays he cooked for them if they had no one else to celebrate with.
He work endless hours in his flower bed that completely circled his beautiful home with all kinds of flowers, fruit trees and blooming bushes. He also loved collecting many things that he proudly displayed in his home from beautiful framed pictures, furniture, cast model cars, trains, glassware, figurines etc... weekly he´d go to area secondhand stores looking for almost perfect treasures..ones that needed a little fix up he´d sit and fix them if he could. Some not worth much..but still treasures to him.
Friends meant a lot to him.. specially Justin Kemp a younger co-worker who he said was the son he never had. Also the loss of good friend Lacy Wilkins last December was very hard on him. He loved many and give it helped many when ir whatever he could.
Dennis you will be missed in my heart. Have fun fixing all the broken treasures in heaven.
