DeWayne Petersen Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lois, his daughters Ingrid and Amy, and his granddaughter Elizabeth.
Pete proudly served in the US Navy. The family greatly appreciates the care provided to him at the Minneapolis Veterans Home during his final years.
The family also extends their gratitude to all who gave Pete the opportunity to be the helpful hero he always loved to be, whether it be through handyman work, serving the Edina High School band, or just being a supportive neighbor and friend.
Pete will be remembered as a child at heart who loved kids and animals, telling stories, and showing a playful sense of humor.
The family will be honoring Pete privately, as was his wish.
