Kathy Lynn Servin, age 71, passed away on January 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by family, after a long courageous battle with melanoma cancer.
Kathy was a strong woman, with a heart full of courage and love, who lived her life fearlessly. If you ever spent time with Kathy, you knew right away that she was one of a kind. Her captivating humor, masked under her distinctive wit and sarcasm, brought joy and laughter to all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a caring and beautiful soul, an individual whose kindness radiated and touched countless lives. Kathy's legacy will forever be one of unconditional love and strength, an enduring testament to her remarkable spirit and substantial character.
She had an enduring love for music, particularly the melodies of her favorite artist, George Strait. The charm and tranquility of country music captured her heart and often served as the backdrop to her treasured recreational activities. Kathy found joy in the simpler things in life, from coloring and crafting with her daughter, to collecting a variety of different items, particularly Betty Boop and Nascar driver Terry Labonte. These are memories that will forever be cherished.
Card games held a special place in Kathy's heart, a pastime she indulged in frequently with her parents and siblings. These moments not only brought her unquantifiable joy but also cultivated a strong sense of family camaraderie, something she held dear throughout her lifetime.
Kathy is survived by her daughter Chelsea Servin, her husband Brett Servin; her brothers Fritz, Paul, Danny, and Raymond Driver; and her sisters Jody Heitzman, Mary Olson, Susie Driver and Penny Larson, all of whom will miss her deeply.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Fritz and Joan Driver, whom she held close in her heart until her last days.
A celebration of life for Kathy will be held on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, located in Edina, Minnesota. Friends and family are all welcome to attend and celebrate Kathy's life.
While we mourn her passing, it is comfort in knowing that Kathy lived a full and enriching life. She will be deeply missed, but her beautiful soul will live forever in the hearts of all those who loved her.
