Anthony Roi Obituary
A graveside service was held on September 3, 2025 at St. Paul Cemetery in Iroquois, South Dakota. Arrangements with Welter Funeral Home in Huron, South Dakota.
Tony was born December 31, 1969 in Edina, Minnesota to Leo H. and Elaine M. (Wutsch) Roi. Tony was baptized at St. Joseph's in Hopkins, Minnesota, received first communion and was confirmed into the Catholic faith at St. Joseph's church in Waconia, Minnesota.
Tony resided his entire life with his parents in Hopkins, Minnesota then moved to Waconia, Minnesota. He attended Waconia Minnesota Public schools, graduating from Waconia High School in 1988. After graduating, he attended Hennepin Technical College for Graphic Design. Tony moved with his parents to Sarasota, Florida where he lived for many years.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo J. and Admana (Beauchene) Roi, Joseph and Eleanor (Haigh) Wutsch; sister-in-law, Rachel (Forde) Roi; uncles and aunts, Jack and Joan (Roi) Solders, Thomas Roi, Conrad Wutsch, Godfather Wayne Wutsch, Erich Wutsch, Ellen (Wutsch) Carter, Al Rollison; great uncle, John Wutsch and cousin, Sherry (Solders) Mizzell.
Tony is survived by his parents; brothers Brian and Michael; niece Lorraine Forde; uncles and aunts Rory and Judy (Roi) Potter, Jean Roi, Edward and DeAnn Wutsch, Bill and Godmother Diane (Wutsch) Clark, Esther Wutsch, Betty Rollison, Russell Carter; great aunt Marion Beauchene; cousins Jill Roi, Anne (Roi) Brantner, Kevin Potter, Molly (Potter) Amos, Nicholas Rollison, Dan Wutsch, Cathy (Wutsch) Torok, Messila (Wutsch) Berry, Erich Wutsch, Joseph Wutsch, Ken Wutsch, Tina (Wutsch) Kriech, Laura (Wutsch) Benz; special friends Jason Heinen, Jason Menzel, and family and friends.
