Connie Dulas Obituary
Funeral Service Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church (121 Bluejay Ave N) in Mayer with Rev. Tom Colgrove as officiant. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment in Garden City Cemetery in Garden City, MN at 3:00 p.m.
Connie Lorraine Armstrong was born to Allen Dee and Doris Armstrong on August 22, 1945 in Vernon Center, MN. She received her education in Garden City, MN and graduated in 1963. She continued her education at St. Mary's College in Rochester, MN graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1965. Connie served as an R.N. until she lost her eyesight from a car crash in 1982. She was married to Edward Dulas in the town of Easton, MN on June 3, 1967. They lived in many homes until finally building their last home in Mayer, MN in 2006.
Connie has many to carry on her memory. Unfortunately, she lost her father, Allen Dee, in 1988, at the age of 61. She lost her mother Doris in 2020 at the age of 94. She lost her niece, Terri, in 2019. She lost her nephew, Nathan, in 1996, at the age of 16. She lost her younger brother, Larry, in 1998, at the age of 51. She also lost her granddaughter, Hokulani, in 2007, at just a few weeks old.
Connie will be loved and cherished through the memory of her loving family: husband Edward; children James (Cora) Dulas of Faribault, Jerry (Tanya) Dulas of Piedmont, SC, Jeanne (Mike) Manalo) of Kapolei, HI, Molly Hagen; grandchildren Spencer (Katelyn), Addison, Cedric, Misty, Jesse, Maile (Dakota), Kamalu (Me Hie), Kanoa (fiancé Brenay), Kainalu (fiancé Kelsey), Aleka, Uilani, Lokelani, Nalani, Leiana Rae, Tristan; great-grandchildren Kana, Jayden, Soloman, Jacot; sisters Mary Armstrong, DeeAnn (Dean) Schmidt; brother Jay (Diane) Armstrong; other relatives and friends.
Serving as casket bearers Spencer, Addison, Katelyn, Cedric, Tristan and Molly.
Honorary casket bearers Maile, Kamalu, Kainalu and Kanoa.
Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, 952-442-2121, www.johnsonfh.com.
