Joyce Arnst Obituary
Funeral Service Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Crown of Glory Church (1141 Cardinal St.) in Chaska with Rev. Reggie Klindworth as officiant. Visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Joyce was born on April 21, 1959 in New Prague, MN to Herman and Vivian (Kroening) Luedloff. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. She attended Trinity Lutheran Parochial School through 8th grade and then graduated from Belle Plaine High School. After high school, Joyce graduated from Hutchinson Vo-Tech College. She married David Arnst at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine on June 6, 1981. They were blessed with two children. Joyce worked at Emerson in Shakopee for 43 years as an Administrative Assistant. She loved working for Emerson and had many friends there.
Joyce enjoyed watching movies, attending craft sales, Bingo, going on long walks, traveling with her wonderful friends and going to various fun events. Joyce was very proud of her children and cherished her two grandchildren, Vivian and Jake. She was a very loving and caring person to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Joyce touched many lives on this earth and will be missed tremendously, but it gives us peace to know she is now our guardian angel up in heaven.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father Herman Luedloff; grandparents Carl and Anna Luedloff, Paul and Mathilda Kroening.
Joyce is survived by her loving family: children Jenna (Ryan) Schultz of Waconia, Daniel Arnst of Chaska; grandchildren Vivian and Jake Schultz of Waconia; mother Vivian Luedloff of Belle Plaine; brother Jonathan (Debbie) Luedloff of Norwood Young America; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Casket Bearers are Mike Anderson, Melissa Meuleners, Todd Wallace, Larry Hawk, Adam Arnst and CJ Arnst.
Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, 952-442-2121, www.johnsonfh.com.
