I worked with Mark on the Waconia High School yearbooks for almost twenty years. He took all the photographs, and was a fine photographer. I knew he was a well liked teacher by the kids who worked on the yearbook staff. He will be remembered for how dedicated he was to his students and to the school. RIP Mark.

"ALL the -one words, ALL the -body words, Each, Either, Neither are all singular pronouns."
I still remember that almost 30 years later. I learned so much about English and Grammar from Mr. Torborg. He was one of the good ones.

I loved being your TA 2 years in a row
I loved your funny stories
I loved how you brought joy to all the teens in your class, even those who didn´t enjoy learning you brought it out of them.
And I loved how you always knew how many days until Britney Spears birthday.
May you rest easy sweet Mr. Torborg.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your brother and uncle. Mark and I joined the English department at WHS the same year. We collaborated on theater projects and curriculum for almost 30 years.
He left an indelible legacy on the lives of many students and colleagues. May he RIP as we accept this loss.

Mr. Torborg will be greatly missed. A staple in the Waconia community.
I´ll never forget him passing out candy or Oreos just randomly during classes. One time he invited myself and another classmate into his room for fried chicken.
He was an inspiration for myself to become a teacher. I enjoyed his class every single day.
"Mr. Torborg? That paper is upside down."
"Your face is upside down too but I didn´t say anything."
"Pass it over, pass it up, hustle up!"
"Gerrrrrrrrrrrunds!"
"Gender!!"

One of the absolute best educators Waconia had. Fond memories of class and all the unique, peculiar, yet catchy phrases used in and out of class that are still repeated by many today.

All the one words, all the body words, each, either, neither are all singular pronouns.
"What number are we on?" "11."
A verb is something an ant can do to a hill.
Pass it over, pass it up, hustle up.
Rest in peace Mr. Torborg. Hope you´re enjoying a ice cold chocolate milk!

Rest in peace Mr. Torberg! I always enjoyed when you came through the lunch line and had your quirky names for certain menu items!
Ironically today, untidy St. Joseph sandwiches are being served!
I also loved when, "you are what you eat" aka...hot dogs were being served.
My deepest sympathies to you all.
