Paul E. Grimm, age 63 of Waconia, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at his residence of natural causes.

Memorial service 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia with Rev. Matt Schroeder officiating. Gathering of family and friends Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment in Faith Rutz Lake Cemetery.

By profession, Paul was a fine finishing woodworker. He approached his craft not simply as a job, but as an art form. He cared deeply about precision, taking time to do things the right way, the beautiful way. His craftsmanship spilled over into everything he did. He transformed the ordinary into extraordinary. Whether he was working with wood, building and restoring motorcycles and classic cars, airbrush painting and the like, his artistry reflected both his imagination and his dedication to excellence. He was also a collector, throwing little away as he could envision a use for everything.

Paul's kind and gentle nature extended to animals. Over the years, he provided countless stray and orphaned animals, especially cats, care and love.

Paul was an exceptionally devoted son, a loyal brother, and a steadfast friend. He had many life-long friendships with childhood friends that he treasured. He loved to reminisce. His memory will live on in the stories we share. He will be deeply missed.

Paul is preceded in death by his father Ruben Grimm Jr.; grandparents Ruben Sr. and Esther Grimm, Edward and Esther Feltmann; aunts and uncles Roma and Raymond Mesenbring, Gloria and Donald Boehmke, Arnold Feltmann.

Paul is survived by his loving family: mother Betty Grimm; sister Pam (Mark) Braunwarth; nephew Jedd (Stephanie) Braunwarth; great nephew and niece Bode and Blake Braunwarth; uncle Ron (Rae) Grimm; other relatives and many dear friends.
