Myrna Landkamer Obituary
Myrna was born December 11, 1937 in Luck, WI, the daughter of Milo O. Askov and Marjorie V. (Clark) Askov. She graduated from high school in Luck, WI and received her BS in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Ray John Landkamer on June 17, 1956 in Luck, WI. The couple resided in Golden Valley, MN for 47 years, where Myrna was a lifetime member of Calvary Lutheran. She was an elementary school teacher by trade. The couple moved to Warrensburg in 2011. Myrna was an avid reader. She also enjoyed traveling and taking care of her family. She attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Warrensburg.
Survivors include her two children: Paul Landkamer and wife, Becky of Warrensburg, MO and Michelle Olson and husband, Ron of Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters: Marlys Nagorske of Windom, MN and Muriel Bungert and husband, David of Rush City, MN; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents; and sisters, Mary Askov and Martha Skow.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Joel Kurz officiating. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to service, Thursday at Williams. There will be a private interment at Liberty Cemetery north of town at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wycliffe Bible Translators in care of the funeral home.
