Cynthia Dorniden Obituary
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Charlotte Jones; parents-in-law, Frank and Ellrene Dorniden; and many other beloved extended family and friends.
Cindy retired in 2012, after 36 years of employment with the City of Rosemount. Her greatest loves in life were her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved being social, attending any and every sporting event, concert, or school program for her children (and then for her grandchildren), and always had a smile and a hug for those in her orbit. Cindy acted as an additional parent and grandparent to many, and shared her love, kindness and support generously - her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard "Dick" Dorniden; children, Valerie, Josh (Heather), and Willie (Kristi); grandchildren, McKenzie, Cooper, Beckett, Henry, Gunnar, and Tanner; two sisters, Sue (Darrel) Grouette and Sheri (Don) Martin; and an abundance of extended family and friends.
Funeral service on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:ooam at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W, Rosemount, with Visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity on her behalf.
