James Deegan Obituary
James P. Deegan, age 67 of Farmington passed away on November 30, 2021.
Jim was a 21 year member of the Farmington Sons of the American Legion. Jim was a charter member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary.
Jim was a friend to everyone and knew how much community, family, and friendship were important. He appreciated westerns & war movies, and working in his barn on his projects. He loved his wife, Kelly; and his children. Jim loved going out to lunch with his friends. Jim was a great friend, companion, and father; there will be a huge void left by his passing.
In all of this loss, we hope that you still laugh, as Jim would have wanted that. We will miss him so much.
He is preceded in death by parents, Francis and Amy, and brother, John.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; children, Brenna Deegan (Daniel Marko), and Jimmy (Tabetha) Deegan; siblings, Jean Ann (George) McIntyre, Joe Deegan, and Jodi (Sonja Kerr) Deegan, also by other family, and many friends.
Funeral Service was held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd., Farmington, and visitation was held on Monday (12/6) from 3-7 PM at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington (651-463-7374) and one hour prior to the funeral at church. Interment, Corinthian Cemetery, Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to the MN Kidney Foundation. Masks are strongly encouraged to wear.
