Stephen Engel Obituary
Steve worked for the City of Apple Valley at the community center for 37 years. In addition to working at the community center, he also worked for ISD 196 as part of community education for 31 years. Steve enjoyed putting on family astronomy and computer classes.
Steve was active with the Boy Scouts of America his entire life. He earned the award of Eagle Scout in the 70's and then continued as an adult leader. He partook in many scouting trips near and far. These trips included venturing to our nation's capital, as well as into the Ontario province of Canada.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemary and Lawrence Engel; and sister-in-law, Barb.
He is survived by his two twin brothers, Dan and Joel (Sara) Engel; as well as three nephews and one niece.
A memorial service for Steve will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 County Rd 42 E, Burnsville, MN 55306, with a visitation one hour prior. A private interment will be held at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley.
