Albert Everett, Jr., died Monday, August 7, 2006 at home in Mobile, Alabama. Al was born March 21, 1930. He was a native of Biloxi, Mississippi and was currently residing in Mobile, Alabama.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, holding the rank of Tech Sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Everett, Sr. and Grace Genieve Everett.
Al is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Penny (Willie G.) Everett and his sons, David James (Jackie) Everett, Albert Matthew Sr. (Kim) Everett, Christopher Jon (Diane) Everett, all of Ocean Springs and Mark Alan (Rose) Everett of Milliken, Colorado and Michael Everett of Arizona. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather Everett, Matthew Everett, Allison Everett, Brittany Everett, Melissa Everett and Brandon Everett and his great grand children, Amara Faison, Taylor Faison and Hallie Grace Everett. He also leaves his sister, Delores Merritt of Pascagoula, Mississippi and many other relative and friends.
Al has unselfishly donated his body to the University of South Alabama Medical Research.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Vancleave, Hwy. 57, Vancleave, Mississippi Friday August 11th at 3:00pm. Dr. Don Boone will preside.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be: Bob Bennett, Horace (Buddy) Darnell, Wayne Hugo, J.R. Miles, and Bobby Vickrey.
