Amelia L. Broussard, 88, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 in Bay St. Louis, MS. She was a native of New Iberia, LA. Was a resident of Bay St. Louis for the past 6 years. She was of the Catholic Faith and a former member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in New Orleans, LA and attended St. Rose deLima Catholic Church since Hurricane Katrina. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Broussard, Eunice Dautrieve, step-father, Daniel Williams; brothers, Carlton Broussard, Roland "Black" Broussard, John "Mose" Williams and Peter Williams; sisters, Cecile Holmes and Mary "Ponnie" Smith.
She is survived by Jeri Curry of Bay St. Louis, MS, sister, Lorraine A. Dean and her husband, Frank of Beltsville, MD; host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews and great-great nieces & great-great nephews.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Rose deLima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Rose deLima Building Fund, 301 S Necaise Ave., Bay St. Louis, MS 39520.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Amelia, been missing and looking for you since katrina, attempted to locate Pamela several times. So sorry, I wanted to find my friend so badly but being in Lafayette made it hard. So long, maybe pamela will get this and e mail me.
