Barbara Jean Parker Strayham, 79, of North Biloxi, died Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from melanoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Julius Strayham, Sr.; parents, Leno and Mary Parker; in-laws, William and Nicolena Radich Strayham; brother, Leland Parker; sister, Diane Parker Lepoma and brother-in-law, William P. Strayham.
She is survived by her children, James (Cathy) Strayham, Jr., Karen Strayham Krohn and Kimberly LeVelle; grandchildren, Kyle (Jamie) Strayham, Karlee Krohn, Brandie LeVelle (Walt) Himel, Mandie LeVelle (Keith) Jarvis, and step-grandson, Jody (Ashley) Krohn; great grandchildren, Lily and Evelyn Strayham, Austin LeVelle, Kelsay Himel, Christopher Jarvis, Shane and Allyssa Krohn; brother, Jerry Lee Parker; sisters, Pamela Parker (Steven) Trochesset and Robin Parker (Glen) Johnson; brother in laws, Gerald Strayham and Jerry Lepoma; sister-in-laws, Hilda Strayham and Barbara Wynn Lepoma; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm on Monday, August 13th, 2018 at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS.
The family wishes to thank the staff members at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport, HealthSouth Rehab and St. Joseph's Hospice that assisted with her care.
