Chad Howell Obituary
Chad Howell, beloved husband, father, friend, and pastor, was taken from earthly trials to the loving arms of Jesus, Sunday, February 1, 2009. He was 32.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Estes Howell; his children, Caden, Braxton, Dean, and Elijah; his mother and father-in-law, Linda and Ron Estes; his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Grace Estes; his niece, Rita Estes; his nephew, Ronnie Estes; and a very close family friend, Terrie Price that was like a sister. He is also survived by his loving church family at Bread of Life Family Worship Center, and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Faith Assembly of God, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This is a going home celebration, please dress accordingly.
A private burial will be held on Friday.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, in Pass Christian, is in charge of arrangements.

Having just found out about Chad's passing this past Sunday on our visit to Bread of Life (our little sweet summer church home away from home)I have to say what a joy it was to hear his sermons.He was so caring and uplifting to us.Bro.Lal has some big sandals to fill.We must reach out and continue the work the Lord started in Chad. The devil will not win,this tragic loss will only fan the flames of our desire to share the Good News.Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys Rhonda.We are all here for you. Dear Ronda and children;
I always Loved that lil' church on the corner and wondered about the many prayers that went up from there. I wanted it to open it's doors and be a church again but I hadn't prayed it yet. Then after Katrina I knew God wasn't done with it yet. So I prayed. One trip down I heard it was open and I went there. I was so thankful my Lord had heard my prayers and opened it back up. The spirit is so there the big bueatiful men even wept from His prescents. I pray through this time of great trial and tribulation it not only remains open but flurishes from the work done there!! I Loved the pick up the trash project. It is a lesson to us all everywhere. We Love you and shal craddle you in our prayers till we can hug you in our arms. Robin and Marv Moore

Wow. What a shock! Chad went home way before he was supposed to. It's obvious he was really touching a lot of peoples lives. What a hole he will leave. I pray his family will continue where he left off and touch the people he would have touched for Christ. I have to say, when i see him, i am going to smack him really good. i'm sure it won't hurt since theres no pain in heaven! I don't know you Rhonda or your boys. Only met you a few times but I know He will give you strength and grace for this awful time. God Bless you with His peace that passes understanding.

Brother Chad was a wonderful person. The room lit up when he was in the room and you was always greeted by Brother Chad when you walked in the room. He prayed for so many and touched their lives as well. We will miss you so much and our prayers will continue to stay with you and your family... always. We love ya'll! Although I am so sad that such a wonderful Pastor had to leave us, I am comforted in knowing that Brother Chad is in Heaven. I am thankful to have known him and his precious family. I knew Chad many, many years ago. I remember meeting up with him and several other friends at the YMCA in Ocean Springs. Good times, good times!! Although it has been many years since I have spoke to Chad, I always had happy memories of him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Chad was the best Pastor I have ever had. He went well above the call of duty. He wasn't just a Pastor, but a great friend. He was always there when I needed him. Everyone I talk to that knew him had wonderful things to tell about what a blessing he has been. This earth will never be the same without him.

I was so sad to hear about Chad's passing. I worked with him at Daily Equipment over 5 years ago. I feel very blessed to have known Chad and to have worked with him. He was one of the kindest people that I had ever met in my life. He had a wonderful love for his wife and his family, he would light up the room just speaking of them. I want to express my sorrow to his family. I know he will be missed greatly but he will never be forgotten.
