Pass Christian
Dolores Shavers Moran, 68, a lifelong resident of Pass Christian, passed away on December 20, 2011, at home in Pass Christian and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Dolores' main focus in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; with a heart of gold and a protective nature for those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ceville and Sedonia Dubuisson; parents, Harold Shavers and Lula Scarborough; and two brothers, Chester Dubuisson and Hester Dubuisson.
She is survived by her husband, Rogers Moran; two children, James Moran and Charlene Holliman all of Pass Christian; three grandchildren, Sterling Holliman, Kayla Moran, and Daniel Holliman all of Pass Christian; two sisters, Charlotte Ransonette and Deborah Scarborough of Gulfport; and one brother, Julius Dubuisson of Long Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2011, from 6pm-9pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian and again on Saturday, December 24, 2011, from 9:00am until 9:50am.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: James Moran, Sterling Holliman, Daniel Holliman, Scott Dubuisson, Jerry Dubuisson, Patrick Klis, and Brandon Taylor with Father David Hamm officiating.
