Doris Allen Obituary
Doris Honea Allen died November 7, 2007, in Jackson, Mississippi where she had moved after Hurricane Katrina.
The funeral service will be held today, November 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, 141 Main St., BSL, 39520, where she was a member prior to Katrina.

I was a student at PRCC and was in a work-study program in the early 80's, I was assigned to Mrs. Allen. It was a great experience for me. I gleaned wonderful work habits and dedication to my employ. Thank you(her children) for sharing. I will always remember Mrs. Allen as a true mentor.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all family members of Doris. Growing up in the East Fork community in Amite county, the entire Honea family was always special. May God be with each of you.
