Evelyn L. Gorte, 84, of Biloxi, MS passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 in Biloxi.
Evelyn was a native of Michigan and a resident of the Coast since 2012. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, going to the casinos and traveling with her husband. Evelyn was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and sister.
She is preceded in death by her first husband; her son; Larry McFal; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
Evelyn leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 54 years, Gerald Gorte; her two daughters, Jai and Juanita; and her brother.
A Memorial Service will be held at Biloxi Christian Church on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
