MSgt Frank L. Conaway, USAF, Retired, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2013. Mr. Conaway was born August 24, 1932 to Jack and Pearlie Conaway of Elba, AL.

After serving his country for 20 years in the Air Force he had a second career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Frank is survived by his children, Kim Barnett of Covington, LA and Dr. Frank Conaway Jr.(Pauline) of Diamondhead, MS; Grandchildren Breena Estorffe of Waveland, MS; Trey Barnett (Alissa) of Houston, TX; Paige Barnett of New York, NY; Madison Conaway of Oxford, MS; and Joshua Conaway of Diamondhead, MS., two great grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends.

I know many will miss Frank in his passing. I remember many a morning sitting in the cafeteria @ HMC having coffee with Frank and his side kick Ray Wilson. Those two guys were always entertaining and could make me laugh my head off. I know family and friends will miss him so much . I know God awaits him at the gates and I am betting Ray has been hanging around looking for his friend. RIP Frank ..
