Geraldine Joyce Franko Moody, age 79, of Biloxi, MS passed away peacefully on March 25, 2012.
Geraldine was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. She worked at Keesler Air Force Base for 15 years as Dining Hall Supervisor and she was a member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly of God in Biloxi. Geraldine loved and was dedicated to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willliam "Bill" Franko; her mother, Lillian Tapper Franko; and her daughter, Debra "Debbie" Jean Courier.
Survivors include her children, Chara (Rickey) Brock and Kenneth "Kenny" (Amanda) Moody both of Vancleave, MS; her ex-husband and friend, Kenneth "Cotton" Moody of Vancleave, MS; seven grandchildren, Wesley (Cristy) Willis, Caleb (Vi) Willis, Dray (Caroline) Brock, Brittany Moody, Brandi Moody, Bryce (Erin) Moody, Blake Moody and Chance Graham; and ten great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Light for the loving care they offered to our mother.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to The Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Ave. Gulfport, MS 39501.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Old Biloxi City Cemetery on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
