Chief,
Thank you for being such a wonderful role model to all who had the distinct honor of being in your presence. I will never forget your patience with me when I had to write my first APR!! Because of you, I rose through the ranks and subsequently had a stellar career. May GOD keep you in his ever loving arms.

It was a joy to minister to James. He would hold my hand while I talked with him about the Lord. He will be missed by us at Camellia Hospice Hattiesburg.

My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the Teakell Family. Chief Teakell defined the role of a CMSgt and was very influential to me as a young Airman at Kadena AB.

My prayers go out to the Teakell family in this time of loss. Chief Teakell taught me respect without uttering a word. He showed me what it meant to be a SNCO, a great role model to a young A1C assigned to Kadena AB in 86. To this day when describing the epitome of a Chief, he is my first thought. Rest in peace Chief and thanks for leading the way. Enrique "Rico" Ferreira.

Our sincere condolences to the Teakell family. CMSgt Teakell was an integral part of my (also my husband Alex Perry)upbringing as a young airman in the USAF, thank you Chief! Our time together at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan are fond memories! Even after 20 years post Kadena, I was amazed to hear a familiar voice calling me while I shopped at the Keesler AFB commissary. Rest in peace, Chief. Alex and Eileen Perry
