Diamondhead
John Edward Baxter, age 72, of Diamondhead, passed away on August 18, 2016.
He was born in New Orleans, LA, and was a lifelong resident of the coast. He was the current Director of Engineering at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport where he has worked for 28 years. Mr. Baxter was an avid Saints fan and he enjoyed sampling local fare.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Baxter and his parents, Edward Ray Baxter, Sr. and Marian Organ Baxter.
Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie Baxter (Langdon, IV) Garrison; a granddaughter, Josie Lynn Favre; a grandson, Langdon "Jack" Garrison, V; and a brother, Edward Ray Baxter, Jr.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 8 am – 10 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A funeral service will held at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery, Pass Christian.
