I am deeply saddened by Joe's death, and I know his suffering and passing have been a terrible blow to you. My heart and thoughts are with you, and I pray you will be comforted in your grief.
Joe was a wonderful person, and I will miss his fish stories. (For the record, I believed each and every one of them.)
I will never forget him, and I hope that in time your sorrow and pain will soften, and all the good memories will sustain you.
I am so sorry I cannot be there, but if you need anything please let me know.
Know that you have my love.

Mrs Reno, I just received your message. I am very sorry to hear that Joe died. I know that you and your three sons are just heart broken. I only knew Joe for a few years but I considered him a good friend. He and I had many good talks at the fitness center. It was always nice to see you and Joe there. He will be missed. He was a good man. John & BJ Deakle
