Juittie Bernice Luxich

Diamondhead, MS

Juittie Bernice Luxich, 86, of Kiln, MS passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 in Diamondhead, MS. She was born in Enon, LA and a longtime resident of Kiln, MS. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Bernice was a retired nurse from Gulfport VA Medical Center. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.L. "Red" Luxich, and son E. Ray Pennington.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Janet Luxich Wiggins & husband, David; her cherished grandchildren, Sheri Paulson, Rachel Pennington, Brad Wiggins and Kathryn, Melinda Wiggins Jones and James; her loved great-grandchildren, Sheena Walker, Brittney Pennington, Bryant Pennington, Dray Goff, Christian Rhoads, Jacob Wiggins and Domonic Jones.

She was a loved family member and resident of Woodland Village Nursing Home since 2007. The family would like to express there thanks to everyone for the excellent loving care given while a resident there, it was truly her home and extended family.

A celebration of Bernice's life will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Shoreline Baptist Church at 10121 Kiln-Waveland Cut-Off Rd. in Bay St. Louis, MS with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Intombment will follow in Bayou LaCorix Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
