Klepper Mason "Scotty" Scott, age 81 passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at home in Pass Christian, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.M. Scott and Lucille Scott; his sisters, Rachel Higgins, and Loy Dean O'Neal, his brothers, Odell Scott and James Scott; and his stepmother, Edith Scott.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lola Scott; his brothers, Rayford Scott of Wynnewood, OK, and Philip S. Scott of Pietown, NM; his sisters, Karen Fuller of Santa Maria, CA and Donna Hickman of Norman, OK; numerous nephews and nieces; and his sister-in-law, Velda McCormick of Shreveport, LA.
Mr. Scott retired as an Electrical Engineer from Unocal Co., San Pedro, CA in 1992 and moved to Pass Christian in 1994. He was an avid fisherman, loved to crab and have crab boils for friends and neighbors. He served in the US Army in Korea and was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Pass Christian and The Pass Christian Yacht Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box #4464, Houston, TX 77210-4464 or American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Wynnewood, OK.
