Mona Lea Roussel

Mona Lea Roussel, 57, of Ocean Springs, MS died Tuesday, December 7, 2004, in Biloxi.

Ms. Roussel was a longtime resident of the Coast and had worked as a Wal-Mart associate in Ocean Springs for five years. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Tate; a sister, Virginia Egan and a step brother, Tony Tate.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Allen Ross, of Gautier; her daughter, Nicole King and her husband, James, of Ocean Springs; her son, Bradley Roussel of Gautier; her father, Ned J. Roussel, of Huntington Beach, CA; a sister, Linda Richard, of Thibodaux, LA; a step sister, Ann Bourgeois, of Raceland, LA; one brother, Tom Roussel, of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Margaret Ann King and James Rex King, III and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chez Charles Place, 1601 Government St. in Ocean Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to Quality Hospice, 999 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS 39530.
