Nellie Mae Rosalis, 84, of Gautier, died Monday, August 1, 2014.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Roy H. Rosalis in August of 1965. They shared many years of happiness together. Roy preceded her in death in January of 2004. Nellie was a loving wife and mother who devoted her time to raising her children. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Everyone who met her had a friend for life. She will be remembered for always opening her home to family and friends and enjoying fishing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rosalis; son, Michael (Rosey) Rosalis; Pam Rosalis Spann; sisters, Minny Johnson, Becky Hutton, and Lily Pierce; brothers, JT and Charles Dennis; and parents, Alvin and Nellie Dennis.
Survivors include her daughters, Lanell (David) Hansen and Melody Joyce; brother, Alvin Columbus Dennis, Jr.; sister, Yvonne Johnson; grandchildren, Colin, Caeleigh, Carson, Wesley, Rachelle, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Kylie, Jase, Aleigha, and Madison, and a host of nieces, nephews, close family friends, and very dear friend, Leona Rosalis.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services with funeral services following at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
