Rita Talbot Obituary
She worked for Sears in the 1950's. She lived on 11th Street in Gulfport for 68 years before Hurricane Katrina took her home and she moved to Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raphael Cuevas and Mary G. Hammer Cuevas, her husband Albert Talbot, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Pamela Serrato, Amy Green, Terry Cuevas and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece, which is her name sake.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Paul Cook, R.N. with Odessy Hospice, Care Giver Anna Niotet, special thanks to great nephew Ryan Serrato for the wonderful care.
Visitation Monday, April 18, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. both at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS. Interment will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens. View and Sign the register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com.

Pam,Amy and Terry, I just wanted you to know how much Rita ment to me. Skipper
and I have so many good memories of her and Al. They played a big part in our life.
We often talk about the old days when we visted and all the good coffee and
cakes she served.We never have our afternoon coffee that we don't think
of them. When we were young we thought
that was so funny for them to have coffee soon as Al got home from work.
and now we do the same thing. I know they are together in a much better place. God Bless them both they were
