Ruby Stevens Obituary

Ruby June (Lotz) Stevens born February 1, 1934 was granted her angel wings on November 10, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded with love from her family and special caregivers. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, and taking care of her family. Ruby was a precious jewel to all that knew her.
Ruby is reunited in heaven with her husband, Douglas, her beautiful daughter, Cynthia, her parents, sisters, grandparents, and many special friends.
Ruby's spirit continues to live through those who loved her so dearly; daughter, Brenda Lotz Rawlins of Ocean Springs; son, Gary Lotz of Gig Harbor, WA; grandchildren, Cynthia Jones of Ocean Springs, Wendy Landry of Biloxi, Amanda Rawlins of Ocean Springs and Douglas Rawlins of North Carolina. Ruby had six great-grandsons, four great- granddaughters, one great-great-grandson and many others she treated as her own throughout her lifetime. Many heartfelt thanks to all that loved and cared for our gracious, sweet, kind, loving mother, and grandmother.
A private service was held Saturday evening for family. Christian Service will be held Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Strauss Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Local arrangements were by the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Beauvoir Road in Biloxi and tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
