1948-2020
Loxley, AL
Thomas Edward "Tommy" Tiblier, Sr., 72, of Loxley, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2020. He was born April 26, 1948, in Biloxi, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane Borel Tiblier; his father, Winslow Tiblier; a brother, J.W. Tiblier; and sisters, Iris Tibler Creel, Genevieve Tiblier Evans, Gloria Jane Tiblier Jordan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Allenbach Tiblier; and their three children, Thomas E. Tiblier, Jr., Jane Tiblier Bunn (Jonathan), and Staff Sgt. Sean M. Tiblier (Kathy); and their 4 beautiful grandchildren, Carter N. Bunn, Emma K. Bunn, Elijah J. Bunn, and Brennan M. Tiblier; his sister, Bernadette Tiblier Everett; his brother, Jimmy Tiblier. and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local charity or ministry of your choice.
It is recommended that masks are worn to protect the family and guest in attendance in order to observe social distance.
A visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30PM with a 2:30 service on Monday, July 6, 2020 all at Gulfhaven Mennonite Church, 21497 Mennonite Road in Gulfport, MS 39503. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park Cemetery, 2076 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, is honored to serve this family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and spoke of them often. He loved life and was always smiling. Tommy and I worked together on the Keesler AFB Hospital project. I learned so many things from Tommy and enjoyed working with him. My memories of Tommy will remain forever in my heart as I considered him to be more than a coworker, he was my friend. He cherished God, Family, Country and LSU. I am glad he was able to see LSU win another National Championship. He always loved to say "GEAUX TIGERS" just like Coach "O". Tommy will not ever be forgotten.

Knew Tommy for many years. He and I played softball in the Biloxi/Gulfport area in the 1970s and 1980s. Also played golf together on many occasions. I'll always remember his laugh and his distinctive voice. May God bless his family during this time.
