Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss. Troy was a great man, I know we didn't see each other much in later years, but I will miss him just the same. Just knowing he was in Facebook reach, was comforting, if I needed any cheering up with his wonderful sense of humor, all I had to do was say hello and there it was. I am sorry I did not check the obits before now, because I wanted to attend his services.

To Carolyn, it is with heavy heart that I write these words "sorry for your loss". Troy was the funniest guy , quick witted and sharp and fair. Troy treated people fairly and will be remembered always. We worked at Treasure Chest and Harrah's.

In memory of a wonderful man -- one of the wittiest and yet, a most sincere, caring gentleman. He could always make us laugh, no matter what was going on. He also knew when to be serious and just the right thing to say when I needed it most. We'll always cherish our memories of Troy. Condolences to Carolyn and the family.

Troy will be sorely missed. He was a good man with a quick wit and great sense of humor. My fondest memory of Troy is, ironically, him volunteering to help ME out at work when I was having health issues. At least he is pain free now, and for eternity.

In honor of a great man, Troy I salute you my friend! The biggest Tulane fan I ever met! He was such a gentle man. We shared a brotherhood that was special to me. Over the years, through all the LSU / Alabama battles, and the time we shared as co-workers, I can honestly say there was not a person I respected more than Troy!!! There was never a dull moment with you around buddy!! You will be truly missed... Rest my friend..... Rest!

Troy was always good for lifting our spirits.... even if we knew most of his jokes by heart. But what I loved most about Troy was how he always championed Carolyn as the perfect wife and mother. That is what marriage should be like:-) According to him, no one was a better cook, housekeeper, companion, or mother. I know that Troy will be making everyone laugh in heaven and watching over his sweet Carolyn forever. Rest in peace Troy. Your pain and suffering are over. I believe you are in paradise now.
