Peggy S. Huser

1940 - 2025

Sun Prairie, WI - Peggy S. Huser; passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the age of 85 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 8, 1940 in Lamar Missouri to Ralph and Mabel (Golden) Reis. She married Jerome Huser on April 11, 1964 in Twin Falls Idaho. Peggy worked for many years as a Bindery Operator at Royle Publishing in Sun Prairie. Peggy was an avid sports fan, especially for the Greenbay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening and playing Bingo at the round table. Peggy is survived by her husband Jerome; four children, Jerome "Scott" (Jennifer) Huser of Green Bay, Michael Huser of Madison, Teressa Hansen of Sun Prairie, and Becky (Chad) Ossmann of Stoughton, her brother Gerald (Mary) Reis of Twin Falls, Idaho and several nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her 9 grandchildren; Heather Hansen, Amber Hansen, T.J. Hansen, Brandon Ossmann, Chelsea (Trevor) Cox, Colt Ossmann, Carissa Ossmann, Leah Huser and Korbin Huser. She also has one great granddaughter; Phoenix Lynn Cox. Peggy was preceded in death by both her parents; 2 brothers Pat Reis and Chuck Reis and 2 sisters Marie (Reis)Farnsworth and Connie (Reis) Mohon. Also, Peggy's son Brian Huser.b A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5th at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, 229 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. A visitation will take place at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held immediately following at The Round Table 1611 N. Bird St. Sun Prairie, WI from 12pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
