Kretsedemas, Alexander N. - Homegoing services for Alex will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009, 11 am at Marietta Southcare Funderal Home, Fr. Alex Khouri officiating. The family will receive friends at the viewing and prayer service on Friday, April 24th at the funeral home officiated by Fr. Panayotis of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, Marietta. Alex, a former resident of Plantation, FL passed away quietly on April 17, 2009 at Hospice Atlanta after a couragous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Born an American in Pouletheria, Greece on November 9,1939 the family relocated to the U.S. in the early 50s after the passing of his father. Survivors include his wife Enid; children: Philip Kretsedemas, Helen Thomas and Elizabeth Robertson and their spouses; grandchildren: Philip and Alexia Thomas, Ian and Daniel Robertson, and Analise Kretsedemas; brothers Demetrios, George and Pete and their wives. Numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces; other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church of Flagstaff, P.O.
