Ann Elizabeth Greene

Greene, Ann Elizabeth (Matlack) passed away on July 14 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Born in Lake Worth, Ann was a founding member of Boca Raton Community Hospital and very active in the Debbie Rand Memorial Service League. The first Hospital Ball was chaired by Ann and it raised considerable money. She was active at the Boca Raton Hotel and the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. Ann was an avid golfer, and despite her delicate look, she could hit the ball a mile. She and her husband Robert were among the original residents at Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club and their beautiful house was commonly referred to as the Pink Palace. Ann's physical beauty was equaled by her love and warmth towards her many friends. All who knew her, loved her and she will be missed forever. Ann was predeceased by her husbands Robert Matlack and Paul Greene. She is survived by her daughter Terry Warren of Columbus, OH, and her long-time loving partner Richard Wilssens. Friends may call on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kraeer Funeral Home, Boca Raton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Kraeer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Boca Raton Cemetery.
