Anne Heath Obituary

Anne was born in Southern Pines, NC., the youngest daughter of William Wilson and Adelina Trubiani. Anne was everyone's best friend. During her life she endured a host of medical and surgical issues that the bravest of us would probably succumb to but, not our Anne. She faced these challenges with unheard of strength and a radiant smile. Anne passed away peacefully on March 2nd. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Tom, and the other love of her life, her son Ben. She worshiped her older brother Billy who pre-deceased her in 2019. Anne was the rock of our family. Her strength, love, and her smile will be missed forever.

Tom & Ben,
Wishing you comfort, and peace in this time of sadness. I will never forget when Anne walked into the shelter and took one look at the grey & white kitten with funky eyes. She picked up Kissy and said she’s mine I will alway be grateful for that memory. I’m sure all the animals at the rainbow bridge were waiting to greet her. My deepest sympathies.

I, Beth Caron, am a volunteer at Feline Friends. Anne has been a part of our early beginnings from more than two decades ago. I will never forget when she fell in love with Kissimmee. She didn't think she would be able to adopt her. We found someone who had decided that Kissimmee would be a good match for them. But we couldn't let her go without giving Anne the chance to say goodbye. We called her and she was out on the golf course with Tom. We could hear her saying, "How can you make me go say goodbye to this kitty?!" She showed up within about 20 minutes and let us know that it was not to say goodbye, but to adopt her. The rest is history. Life gets in the way, but Anne always managed to drop by every year or so and we could catch up. She was always a ray of sunshine. She will be greatly missed. We are so sorry for the loss to her family. The world has just dimmed a bit. Her light was bright.

I am so very saddened to have lost my baby sister. Though our paths separated my love and admiration for her never wavered. She was always bright as sunshine and yet handled her unfortunate painful afflictions with her own special take on grace.
With loving memories, Kathy .
